History

Productos Alexander was founded in 1978 by Rosa Sotomayor Martínez and Fernando Torres Delgado. Since then, the company has been dedicated to producing a variety of snacks such as potato chips, salted peanuts, sweet peanuts, salted beans, sweet beans, and salted plantain chips. Over time, it has become a benchmark in the Ecuadorian snack market thanks to its commitment to product quality and its portfolio of classic snacks that appeal to the Ecuadorian palate. At that time, artisanal cuisine promoted the consumption of artisanal products that did not involve complex production processes. With globalization, there was a shift in consumer preferences, changing the characteristics of a classic and traditional snack. Despite the passage of time, Productos Alexander has maintained a portfolio of traditional products with flavors from the past that represent history, cuisine, and authenticity.
